Ukraine aid - donations welcome

Please see the below article from Hope and Aid Direct…

Since 1999 Hope and Aid Direct, a 100% volunteer led humanitarian aid charity, has been working with trusted NGO's in the field to identify vulnerable individuals and families. This way we ensure that the aid we collect is appropriate and can be delivered into the hands of those in need.

Since the start of the war in Ukraine we have sent 98 articulated trucks of aid which has been provided by individuals, groups, companies and corporations.

I have been volunteering with the charity for the last 16 years and remain amazed and truly grateful for the continued support of so many people.

Our current priority needs are:

Basic toiletries: shampoo, shower gel, soap, toothbrushes and paste, disposable razors and deodorant.  The regular sizes are best please.

New underwear: all sizes and ages, and for women, men and children.

Food: Dried soup, tinned meat and fish, stock cubes, and cereal/high energy bars.

We take aid, not sides.

A donation box can be found in Daisychain Cafe for those wanting to support the charity.
